This 1966 Dodge Dart GT is in wonderful condition inside and out. This car ahs spent its whole life in Pennsylvania. It has always been stored indoors and has no rust whatsoever. The body and paint are in beaturiful condition. The car has all its original body panels. The car was painted about 10 years ago and it still looks fantastic. The bumpers and grill are original and are in excellent condition. The door handles and trim are impressive as well. The only flaw worthy of note is that the rear tail lights are starting to show some age. All the glass is still in excellent shape and the Power Top works like a charm. The original Dog Dish wheel covers look wonderful on this classic. They are in very good condition. The car also sits atop a nice set of red line bias ply tires.
The interior is original and in excellent condition. The carpet and seats are really nice, with very little wear. The door panels are also orginal and are in great shape. Don’t miss the optional wood steering wheel. The only non- OEM additions seem to be the few gauges added. They can be removed if you prefer. The factory AM only radio was upgraded to an AM/FM Stereo. All in all, this car is simply stunning.
When you open the hood, you’ll notice the engine compartment is VERY well done. The fire wall and inner fenders are on par with the rest of the car, top notch. The engine has been maintained well and looks the part, even down to the correct HIPO air cleaner, manifolds and valve covers. It has the solid lifters and is a really nice performing engine. The fender tag is still in place. Notice the wiring, hoses and clamps are all correct. This is a VERY nice car and could win some shows. When the battery was replaced, no expense was spared as it has a correct MOPAR unit. There are a few spots of discoloration where the previous battery dripped a few drops of acid. Nothing went through the paint, but just made a few marks around the battery.
Take a look into the trunk and you’ll see it is clean, and has all the right items present. NOTICE THE ORIGINAL SOUND DEADENER. Also, we’ve provided numerous photos of the car’s undercarriage. It is in excellent condition. Notice as well, the correct single exhaust tip. You don’t usually see the attention to detail this car has been given.
Whether this car is destined for the show circuit or cruise nights with the family, you will be proud to own this piece of history. This car comes to you fully inspected and ready to go. YOU CAN FLY IN AND DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE….
